am calling on the blogosphere to BOYCOTT MARRIOTT HOTELS.

Brigitte Gabriel was good enough to share the latest act of dhimmitude by an American company by capitulating and accommodating CAIR but refusing to serve those of us fighting for America. If the Marriott Corporation wants to operate in America, make money in America, be free to pursue their profits in America, enjoy the freedom of America - then don't stand in the way of the very people putting their asses on the line to make that happen.

Ass kissing, terror loving, America hating Marriott - banish them to France!

Source: atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com . . .

Check this out:

Brigitte is one of the Keynote speakers at People's Truth Forum anti terrorism conference along with her colleagues Dr. Harvey Kushner, Robert Spencer and Laura Mansfield.

Sleeping with the enemy at the Marriott, Worldnetdaily.com

The Georgetown Marriott Conference Center rejected a "terrorism" symposium on the grounds that the sponsoring organization was too controversial and the venue inappropriate for this type of forum. Concurrently, another Marriott Hotel in the Washington area is hosting the Council on American- Islamic Relations' annual conference Eand participating as a panelist at the gala will be an alleged co conspirator of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

According to the Georgetown Marriott executives, the decision to reject the event, being hosted by the People's Truth Forum, or PTF, was based upon business considerations: "The event would call for heightened security since protesters might be attracted from both the student body and off campus. These same protesters might block the front entrance leading to confrontations with hotel guests and/or room cancellations." COWARDS!

After researching the matter, the Marriott's corporate office supported the local decision and issued the following statement: "Due to the high density of Muslim students on campus, we're afraid of the potential for violent protests, injured employees and damage to the facility."

According to PTF's president, Jeffrey Epstein, "The People's Truth Forum, a fact-based, non-partisan organization, is dedicated to educating Americans on topics of national security. Controversy and resistance is nothing new to us given our commitment to disseminating 'unpopular' truths."
Epstein added: "Although I don't harbor ill feelings toward the Marriott Corporation for their weak-kneed 'business' decision pertaining to the Georgetown property, I am deeply troubled by the realization that a major American corporation could fear reprisal from enemy sympathizers, within our borders, during a time of war. This situation certainly begs the question as to what degree our national security has already been compromised."

When I was in the military, that particular Marriott was very hospitable. In fact, they hold several events for the military at that convention center. There is an important part of this story, that is missing

Boycott them all. Sleep in your car at a Rest Area.

I spend 200+ nights a year in hotels.
I'll have to double check this but if Marriot is really siding with an terror-friendly organization like CAIR, Hilton just got themselves a bunch of additional nights, starting with mine.
Hilton does not side with CAIR, now, does it?

Why blame Marriott for not wanting their guests to be blown apart by Muslims? The problem is Muslims, not Marriott. Marriott isn't afraid to host CAIR because disapproving Americans will write angry letters and call talk show hosts; they won't strap on suicide belts or throw molotov cocktails. This is something we have to fight collectively as a unified society. Do we want our businesses to be "afraid of the potential for violent protests, injured employees and damage to the facility"? How long are we going to live in fear of The Religion of Peace?

TXmom, I completely agree with you on the nature of the problem.
But do you agree with Marriot's surrender?

It seems you are not advocating surrender.
Could they have beefed up their security maybe?

Also even if they let themselves be intimidated by the violence of CAIR's supporters (and the security of their guests might be a good reason), nothing prevents them from denying their other venue to CAIR for good measure. But they do not do that. Based on their actions, they're not even neutral on the subject then.

Edit: OL: Lol and K+

Would that not also provoke an angry backlash from Muslims? I'm not going to single Marriott out for declining to be the battleground when our government, media, Hollywood, and universities are pandering to Muslim sensibilities and special rights. I fully understand your point, sweetheart. I'm just saying this problem is way bigger than Marriott. This is a war that needs to be fought strategically, not in little pitched battles here and there. We're playing the game CAIR's way...conceding little by little until the whole is eroded. It's time to pop open a can of whoop-ass and settle this once and for all. It's time to let them know that we are united in our fight against them, and we aren't going to be intimidated or conquered either militarily or politically by Muslims.

Yes they are Mormon.
If you look in a Marriot bedside drawer there is always the mormon version of the Bible.

The good thing about Mormons is that they do not kill everyone they consider unbelievers. They can be annoying at times when they try to make you see the light, but i'll take that any day over a beheading.

I find it interesting that the mormons run scared when threatened. I guess that's why they're all in Utah. Run away! Run Away! Pussies...

Huh. I never noticed. I thought it was Gideon's Bible.

Does the Marriot have porn channels?

I don't know that much about Mormons, but I have been amazed to see these scrubbed clean missionaries in some awful places overseas.

Anyway, they have hever annoyed me. The Jehovah's Witnesses, on the other hand....

sorry guys, I TOTALLY agree with Marriot. If I was in their position, I would have done exactly the same thing. It's not a matter of kissing CAIR's ass, it's a matter of them not wanting some asshole blowing themselves up inside their hotel.

NOW, had they said something like "we respect cultural diversity, marginalized citizens, non-inclusive, we are for peaceful conflict resolution, negative racial stereotyping, yada yada"

Then I would say Fuck 'em. They are making this decision based on the safety of their hotel guests and employees, NOT political correctness. Even if we disagree with the decision made, we should at least agree on WHY they made it.

also, K+ TX Mom. I agree.

We finally went on the offensive with Islamic militants on their own turf, but we're still "fighting" domestic militants defensively. You don't win playing defense; you just don't lose as badly. It's time to fight the political wing of Al-Qaeda (CAIR) offensively.
