The JPEG image upload function is broken for now. Please use GIF images instead to illustrate your threads (file name ending with .gif, not .jpg or .jpeg.
If you want to use an image in JPEG format, you should transform it to GIF first. Most image manipulation software can do this (use the "save as" or "export" function).
A free (GNU license) soft that can do this and much much more: The Gimp. Exists also for Mac and Linux platforms.

How about the .bmp format? Has never been possible, .png neither.
You can hotlink .bmp images of course, it's just the upload function that is broken for now. |

A very good program to view/resize/reformat images is Iview.
It will even batch convert a bunch of images at one time.
And it is FREE!

I've used it for years and it gets 5 stars in my book.
It will even open video and audio files if you also download the pluggins. |
