France's, Italy's, Finland's and Holland's combined medals would have been enough to win!
From our side this is impossible to tolerate..
As we saw yesterday, only when entered the Italian and American teams at the Olympic Stadium the Italian public reserved a standing ovation. The German teams was very welcome because they entered with a German and an Italian flag in sign of respect.
Just a few applauded the entrance of the Frog team.

Hey Berlu, you are a kind of dictator. LOL

Atlantic, if wish you to take credit for anything any European does, then you have to take the blame as well.
On that note, I wish to thank the European Union for assisting us in the invasion of Iraq and continued occupation.

Well, if the EU is to be considered as one entity it's time for France and the UK to merge their seats on the UN security council and give the new seat to, say, Japan. Also, each EU country will need to recall their ambassadors and their voting rights and merge them into one EU vote.
Yes, I like the sound of that.
|
|
|

Just as soon as the USA gets to send 25 teams to the Olympics, we can start the EU v. USA medal count.

an Italian flag in sign of respect.
But Berlu, if Northern Italy secedes like you wish, this will not be the flag under which your Padanian team will compete?

If we wanna play games about the games, sure.
The NATO team has won more medals than all others combined, one Olympiad after another. As the USA is the leading nation in NATO, the credit is ours.

- The EU is not a country
- It's normal, the more athletes you send, the more medals you get
- The impact of team-sports events
- The limited numbers of athletes a country can send.
- The impact of Gold medals versus Silver/Bronze
- The ranking method with the prority on Gold
- The Olympics suck anyway
Those are all excellent points, Atlantic. Congratulations! You owned yourself!
The time you've saved everyone can be spent on personal attacks.
You Suck!! (efficiently) Thanks!

As we saw yesterday...
The good people of Italy, the ones who cared enough to come to Torino (Where was Berlusconi Berlu?) equally applauded all countries.
f course, this may not be what the Berlusconi TV told you, Berlu...

Sure! The UN has even more!
But this is not the subject of this game.
Feel free to make another one.
Don't forget to include French medals in the NATO tally, btw!

French medals in the NATO tally
About as useful a contribution as the British Olympic team will make to your EU tally.
Britain's Tom Clemens finished 57th out of 88 competitors in the biathlon.
That´s what I like to see.
FUCK THE EU!

Good point, Ibig.
Atlantic starts his thread by trying to summarily dismiss all reasonable objections to his questionable assertions. What he actually accomplishes is to shoot his thread down himself, from the get-go.
BTW, Atlantic, what happened to your Karma? You were ahead of me by a couple thousand and that was my inspiration, to get ahead of you, because having a Frog outdoing me in anything was intolerable.

For the record, here is the total medal count for all previous Olympics:
France - 236; gold - 67
USA - 480; gold - 237

Atlantic starts his thread by trying to summarily dismiss all reasonable objections to his questionable assertions.
Because they have already been dismissed or minimized in the Athens thread and that, as much as I understand that you have major comprehension problems, I don't like to repeat myself... too many times.

Dismissed and minimized by YOU. Not by Fact or logic.

BTW, Atlantic, what happened to your Karma? You were ahead of me by a couple thousand and that was my inspiration, to get ahead of you,
What don't you place your bet, then?
You have up to 40 Ks to win, here!
because having a Frog outdoing me in anything was intolerable.
This is intorable to this site's administration too.

WOW!
If the EU was an actual nation, and not a pastiche held together by undemocratic backroom deals between out-of-touch eurotrash elites, I'd GIVE A SHIT!

The EU is just a failing trading block. It's not a country.

The Winter Olympics were created to give white people a chance to win a medal.
In 1924, white people were dominating even track events, Uncle.
Harold Abrahams (left) won gold in the 100m in Paris 1924, beating the American Jackson Scholz with a time of 10.6 seconds
Look at your 1924 200 meters Olympic champion, and 100 meters Silver medal:

1. The EU total, Gold and Silver (and therefore Bronze) medals tally: K+40
Isn't the obvious answer 0?
And I don't need to wait two weeks. Gimme my 40 K!
