He will argue that ff committed a tort in the state of Florida by copying his web site, which is most likely run out of the State of Florida. He will attempt to claim jurisdiction via the "committed an intentional act withing the state" doctrine of jurisdiction.
Impressive as usual. But I'm not a IP lawyer, Stevie obviously isn't either, and I don't think it's the branch you did specialize in (not a criticism, far from it).
What I understood about supposed IP infringements (and I'm skipping the whole "fair use" part on purpose, after all we are in Stevie's wonder world where he's a good WRITER and a BRILLIANT attorney) is the money part.
Stevie makes money (loosely speaking) in three ways that I'm aware of: His job at M&Something, his upcoming book, and the ad money he gets from his website.
If ff.com made him lose money in any way, I guess he would have grounds to sue us.
But -correct me if I'm wrong- fuckfrance hasn't interfered with any of his M&Something janitor jobs. Fuckfrance hasn't plagiated or otherwise messed with his forthcoming book about Nigerian spam, a masterwork somebody actually paid him an advance for. And last but not least, fuckfrance.com hasn't lowered the number of pageviews on his website (a measuring stick for the price he can ask for ads). He had 2320 views per day before he started trolling here, this site has a couple of million pageviews/day and the 7 or 8 links here to his site must have exploded his readership and therefore at the same time the price he can ask for his ads.
So how likely is it he will be laughed out of court before even entering it?
