Why FuckFrance.com?

I cannot say that we Americans on this site don't enjoy reading about French problems -- we do. Of course this is a reaction to years of French enjoyment of American imperfections. This is not limited to only the French -- but there is an elitist mentality in much of Europe -- that enjoys looking down on America. They enjoy taking the morally superior tone. Of course, America has taken responsibility for much of what has happened in the world since World War II, right or wrong. France has not taken much responsibility. Taking responsibility, taking action of any kind, means you won't please everyone.

I think Americans on this site are tired of that elitist morally-enlightened predominantly-politically leftist mentality which finds it so easy to find fault with America, especially when you consider that Europe has been at peace the last half-century precisely because of American will, American values and American sacrifice. Our view of the wonderful European moral supremacy is that it is, at best, a half-truth. Leave Europeans to their own mechanism, and they will generate fascists or communist tyrants that murder millions and plunge the whole world into a fiery horror.

You are the people who scorn "Bush the Idiot" and "Bush the New Hitler" -- but you are the people who gave us Hitler, Ivan the Terrible, Napoleon, Stalin....a long list of tyrants and war mongers. You point your finger at us and condemn us. But if not for the Pax Americana the last 50 years, all of Europe would have been living in a dark collective Gulag Europa. What thanks do we get for this? "America has no culture! America is fascist! America is...!" It goes on ad-infinitum (and ad-nauseum, I might add).

With the leftist perspective, America is the cause of all that is wrong with the world. There is a kind of knee-jerk anti-Americanism in leftist politics -- a leftist politics which many of us on this site feel does not see its own sins very clearly. The left (European and American) supported communism ('the poor third world' lament again) against America through much of the last 50 years. The European left has idealized communism, has refused to see the murderous reign of terror in Russia, China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Cuba. The European left has screamed about American evil but has apologized or simply blinded itself to the lies and atrocities in its own political camp.

And now the European left is fastening some "humanistic attachment" to the Arab cause -- the 'poor and the weak are always right' mentality. But the poor and the weak are not ALWAYS right. If you see Iraqi 'freedom fighters' cutting off the heads of unarmed foreign workers, how can you not be affected by this. Saddam's killing fields. Iranian oppression. Show me an Arab nation which is not a bastion of fascism, please! I would like to see one.

So, now you have this 'third world cause': the poor Arab, exploited by Israel and America.

So much of the anger you see on this site in a response to what we see as insupportable leftist snobbery and blind ideology against America. If you attack us, we will attack back. Strike us with your judgment; we strike back. Every nation has sins. Every nation has its darkness. Every cause has its shadowland. I admit we have ours. But you, the left, tends to not admit its own.

That is why we participate on FuckFrance.com. We are tired of the one-way abuse coming from people we have helped in the past and continue to help today.

We were against the iraqi war because we think it will resolve nothing .

I was surfing the net last Novemeber, looking for information about the muslim riots in France, when by chance I came upon fuckfrance.com!
