Here are my recommendations based on what I do when my jeans get a little tight.
Exercise: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Run 3 miles (5K) every morning. Walk 10 miles later in the day (in increments, to avoid boredom. ). Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays: Walk 12 miles each day.
Diet: Breakfast- one bowl of non-sugar-coated cereal, a cup of coffee, a banana. Lunch- salad (with lo-cal dressing, chicken sandwich. Supper: Whatever floats your boat, but keep it in the 1000 calorie range, at the most.
Miscellaneous: Avoid alcohol. Marijuana is better, and has zero calories. Have lots of sex, as sexual intercourse burns about 200 calories per hour in the typical male, while the secretions from the female vagina are only about 30 calories per tablespoon.
