The markets here suggest there is now a greater than 60% chance that one of these will be your next president. So who who would you prefer? 37 Replies to Just to get some feedback from my American friends |

What's the difference? I can't believe folks are buying into the 'Obama represents a new era in American politics' crap. I won't vote for the guy, but I'd rather have him as president than Hilary. But I still wouldn't want either as president. |

I honestly don't think either one has a snowball's chance in hell. Hussein Obama has not be subjected to the Republican attack machine yet...and it will be ugly when he is. I will enjoy it of course. Also, the entire south will vote as a block against Obama. They don't want a black muzzie president. Nor do hispanics in the mid-west. He has no chance. Only some northeastern and west coast liberals will vote for him and they wont be nearly enough. They democrat with the best chance in a general election is probably Edwards, yet he wont win the nomination.
It seemed to me not too long ago that Republicans would surely lose the White House in this election, but never count out the Democrats ability to give the election even to incompetent Republicans. In this case they are doing so by putting Hillary Clinton (the most polarizing woman in American political history) and B. Hussein Obama (a black muzzie) up front as their chief candidates.
All I can say is thank you to the democratic party...thank you! |

Easy call: Obama. I would never vote for him myself, but if given the choice between anyone and Hilary, I'd take anyone.
This is how we wound up with Bush for two terms. Most Americans would vote for virtually ANYONE to beat John Kerry and Al Gore who are probably the worst 2 candidates to show up on the ballot since Jimmy Carter. |

This is so true. Its not that the republican candidates are ever that great, its just the Dems are such fuck ups that they give the election to the republicans. Now this year they offer Hillary and Hussein...it would be funny if it were not so sad. |

Psst...moron...what are you doing when you play futures? You are betting on what?
And as I have pointed out...you aren't the leading financial center...you just don't know how to look at the big picture... |
