Are those vintage Fischer speakers? Never seen ones with wood cases.
I had to sell my Paradigm Studio 100's after I got hitched. Had them hooked up to a 400wpc Citation amp that could have doubled for a boat battery. My neighbors have never been happier.  |

I bought those Fischer speakes when I was I think 19. Maybe even 18. The covers were missing, and the guy on the floor gave me an outrageous discount. I couldn't afford speakers but didn't even know it at the time, I wasn't aware how expensive they were at that age but the guy sold me these and these were *really* nice speakers at the time. They are twenty years old, and with the help of a modern subwoofer, they more than do the job for me. I'm almost too attached to them at this point to replace them. |

Cool. Reminds me of a buddy of mine who still has his Pioneer speakers from the 80's. They were awesome party speakers with 16" woofers. Nothing fancy, but miles ahead of the shit they sell you today at Best Buy. Hi-Fi is dead, may it rest in peace. |
