French army is know to be a much better force than Italian army since in France to be an officer has prestige while in Italy, they have to take what is available.
US or British officers all recognize that french army is much better than Italians.
BWT we spend much more on training and for the whole army, we deploy abroad much more, we have some equipment Italy simply do not have(not only the nukes) and it matters somewhere.
General Jones supreme NATO commander in Europe have said that the French army is the best expeditionary force of Europe.
I think he is quite qualified. |

Which shitty little country ?
For France we made it clear that we would not tolerate intimidation from israeli air force and I don't think Israel would like to confront our air force. |

The map showed the area of danger, i-e, given the intended targets in Israel and the ballistic trajectories of the Hezbollah’s rockets, the zone from where the rockets would be fired.
The map showed that the Italian were in charge of logistics while the French were doing the real job.
This is not to belittle the Italians, but if you look at the UNIFIL web sites, you will see that the French have the heavy equipments (LECLERC & 155GCT) and that the other contingents are mostly there to repair the damages caused by the last Israeli aggression.
PS: My driving record is spotless |

Did Egypt faced USAF in 1973?
What is more important for security of USA and western world? Israel or France?
Would you like us to give our entire technology to China or Iran in reprisal?
Would you like us to use nukes?
France can crush any time Israel if they threaten and defy us, and USA would do nothing but call for restraint.
And I'm pretty sure a lot of US generals are fed up with Israel since the "Liberty" affair and the mess they introduce in middle east or for the 3 billion US $ of equipment shipped to Israel annually and payed by US taxpayer and US army would prefer to get. |

I'm pretty confident that Bush would not do anything but incitate Israel to apologize.
US jewish lobby is powerful but not almighty and US soldiers would not die for Israel as they did not die in WW2 for Auchwitz and they even did not raised a finger to divert some ressources to save the jews (by bombing rail roads leading to concentration camps for exemple).
Israel has no oil or minerals, is 5 million people and do not benefit a lot to US security and even had jeopardized it like by selling US technology to China.
Israel rely on USA (and UE for exports) and its situation is quite precarious. |
