Indeed. Mexicans have never defeated Texas. Through the years, they have always wanted to expand north of the border, only to meet pissed off texans who think Mexicans belong in Mexico
As for the battle of El Alamo, what the fwench would like to point out is that it was a defeat, when actually the Battle of El Alamo is still remembered as the turning point of the Texan revolution. The Texans held to the last man ( when was the last time the fwench cowards have ever done this? ), allowing after a 13 day siege, Sam Houston to gather troops and supplies.
The Mexicans got the hint they were screwing around with the wrong people when they went from El Alamo to fight at San Jacinto. By then, Houston had built up his army and his supplies, and the battle of San Jacinto left the Mexicans with no taste for battle against Texas.
That pretty much leaves the story at the point where the Mexicans only have ONE military victory
