Today, May 8th, is another French holiday... (karma: 16)  en>fr fr>en

Jeez...

...but THIS one is to mark "Victory In Europe"! :D Why the fuck are the French celebrating? They LOST in WWII, remember (see German invasion graphic)?

And how about celebrating by doing an extra day's work, or donating your French salary to help the aged buy air conditioners so they might have a better chance of living through the Parisian summer if it gets a bit hot again?

No, the useless lazy French bastards go on holiday. And tomorrow. And Monday (different reason, same bone-idle fucking laziness). So that's five days in a row the poor bastards can't go on strike because they're on holiday.

Public holidays of course mean virtually ALL shops are closed and all domestic outdoor activities (cutting grass etc) are restricted to pathetic Sunday hours, ie 10am to fucking midday ONLY. In developed countries, a public holiday means the FREEDOM to do what you want, spend where you like and make your OWN choices. In France, that "freedom" is the "freedom" to do as the government dictates.

What was May 8th all about anyway? Oh yes, that's right -- FREEDOM from the end of WWII... ROFLMKSAO. You couldn't make this shit up if you tried.

Truly, France is a shithole par excellence, a backward, hopeless hypocritical and totally fucked-up country full of frog aresholes masquerading as normal men and women.

This is just a question, Cal. Do the French get as many holidays as the Spanish? I know that the Spaniards get off of work for every saints day and some of the saints I've never even heard of. They also get off for all sorts of other reasons. Sometimes I really wonder when they do work.

The BEF was back in Great Britain by this phase of the campaign. They got trapped in Belgium because their Froggie "allies" ran away at Sedan and the Frogs were unable to stop the German armor because their dumbass commander "forgot" to form an armored reserve as a contingency for something like that happening.

As a result, Heinz Guderian and Team Deutsche Panzer were declared winners of the 1940 Tour de France, beating out Gerd von Rundstedt of Team Wehrmacht and Sepp Dietrich of Team Waffen-SS.

Uh, "back" ? Do you mean they courageously ran away, right ?

rave Sir Robin ran away.
("No!")
Bravely ran away away.
("I didn't!")
When danger reared it's ugly head,
He bravely turned his tail and fled.
("no!")
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
("I didn't!")
And gallantly he chickened out.

****Bravely**** taking ("I never did!") to his feet,
He beat a very brave retreat.
("all lies!")
Bravest of the braaaave, Sir Robin!
("I never!")

Frogs are very lazy indeed. In 1940, they did nothing against the krauts. In 1944, they did nothing when the Allied Forces invaded fwanç… So they celebrate the victories they did nothing to achieve… That's a sure sign not only of cowardice — we know they are champions in that realm — but of stupidity… They lack the basic decency required from a pet. They are a race of bidet attendants, whores and slaves…

Because it's a map of FRANCE? :D

Yes, exactly. This is what happens when a 80 millions citizens country (included dominions), disposing of the greatest colonial empire, decides to declare the war against Germany.

They send 10 divisions, and instead rely on their ally, letting him supporting 90% of the war burden, as Churchill sadly noticed.

BTW, how does it feel to see that even Belgium, a neutral country, disposed of an army 2.5 more important than your ?

In that case TC, I fail to see the reason why you posted a 1940 map to illustrate your thread.

Maybe could you rather have used this one ?

don't talk about work britshit. The French are way more efficient at work than the icompetent britshits.

In fact, caldoche is mad because his ex french wife is keeping his french kids during the holidays and during 5 days/week.

You're a fucking loser caldoche. But hey, you got what you deserved...you shouldn't have beat your French wife. Now you're stuck here if you want to see your french kids.

Is your French boss nice with you? Probably not, you coward can only spit your anger on FF.

Life is good. :D

Victory Day (Äåíü Ïîáåäû Den Pobedy)
Every 9 May, Russia celebrates the victory over Nazi Germany, while remembering those who fell in order to achieve it. 9 May was chosen, since in the night from 8th to 9th 1945 the German military surrendered to the Soviet Union and its Allies in Berlin (Karlshorst), for people in Russia this happened on the 9th (time change). A military parade is usually held in Moscow to celebrate the day

The french ( wannabe communists, without the balls to actually fight for anything ) chose this day to honour all those Soviet communists, they admire so much, who actually fought the nazis.

I think they call it penis envy.

Solidarity commrade!
