The BEF was back in Great Britain by this phase of the campaign. They got trapped in Belgium because their Froggie "allies" ran away at Sedan and the Frogs were unable to stop the German armor because their dumbass commander "forgot" to form an armored reserve as a contingency for something like that happening.

As a result, Heinz Guderian and Team Deutsche Panzer were declared winners of the 1940 Tour de France, beating out Gerd von Rundstedt of Team Wehrmacht and Sepp Dietrich of Team Waffen-SS.
