As I said earlier, art is anamorphous in the sense that perception change with distance and perspectives. I used to assemble plastic kits too. I was quite good, but far from your superior level of course. Just because I love models, I kept buying them over the years: I must have 1 or 200 “new in box” kits. I even bought an 1/72nd Nesher two days ago, knowing perfectly it will never be assembled, as I quit building them when I started going out with girls, around 14 or 15…

Yup, as the French would say, the choice was easy between “maquette” and “ma quéquette”.

I guess for some, such as Watchamacallit, the other modeler on FF.com and you, that option was never truly available?

But, anyway, shame on me to make fun of middle aged men with a long history of failed relationships. You got your 15 minutes of fame, congratulations!
