Um, no... People who surrender without a fight (like the french) are COWARDS... I am not remotely ashamed of the fact that american forces have had to surrender on an occassion or two in the past... Of course, we went back (during the same conflict) and kicked the shit out of whoever it was we had surrendered to... umm can the French say that??? DON'T THINK SO

Hmm.. were the US industrial centers ever hit by Axis bombs? Did the US have the same experience as France and the rest of Europe during WWI? In case you're wondering the answer to both questions is no; really the only US citizens killed on the mainland as a result of enemy action were a few folks on a church picnic who were killed by a Japanese balloon bomb. And we didn't lose nearly as many people as the French during WWI, nor were we ever subjected to anything like the blitzkreig. Furthermore the size of the US would have made a huge difference, in much the same way the sheer size of the USSR (as well as the complete and utter disregard Stalin had for human life as well as the military aid that FDR provided to the Soviets) stopped the Nazi war machine. Keep telling yourself that no Americans would have colloborated if the Nazis had managed to occupy part of the US. The Nazis occupied the Dutch, Danes, Norwegians, Luxembourgers, Italians, Czechs, etc.. The Swedes gave the Nazis free access over their land and the Croats, among others in that region, took to the alliance/puppet regime with the Nazis with relish. Yet myopic fools like you see fit to focus only on the French. In short, until your country has been invaded only a few years after you've lost a good chunk of your fighting population in a previous war I'd kindly advise you to STFU.
