NEWS ITEM: Israel's Supreme Court will hear arguments against France 2 and reporter Charles Enderlin on the demand that their media credentials in Israel be revoked as a result of their alleged fraudulent news report in regards to the death of 12-year-old Mohammad al-Dura on September 30, 2000. The Plaintiff, Shurat Hadin Israel Law Center, is demanding that France 2, and its reporter Charles Enderlin lose their license to practice journalism in Israel until such time as they admit to the fraudulent report, publicly clear the State of Israel and the Israel Defense Forces of any fault and publish an official apology to the families of the hundreds of terror victims who were killed and/or injured as a result of their fraudulent report. The Foreign Press Association and the Israeli Communications & Press Association have asked to participate in the proceedings as friends of the court.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Among the many murders committed by terrorists to "avenge" the death of al-Dura was the murder of American journalist Daniel Pearl. His murderers clearly cited the death of al-Dura as one of the reasons he was murdered. This is but one of the many cases in which the fraud perpetrated by Charles Enderlin and France 2 caused harm to an innocent individual – in this case the death of a fellow journalist.

Teh French have no concept of "news". It goes with having no idea what "truth" is either. "Propaganda" is the best they can manage...

Cnn you imagine if we could do that in the U.S., revoke the press credentials of the lying bastards who shove false information at us.

So what, if it is proved that this A2 reporter made a false report he must be punished and Israel should ask the management of A2 to do the same.

Charles Enderlin was born in Paris in 1945, and grew up in Metz with his divorced mother, his sister and his grandparents, a family of Austrian Jews who moved to France after the Anschluss. He studied medicine in Nancy, France, before leaving for Israel in December 1968 at the age of 22 to live on a kibbutz.

In 1971, he became a journalist with an Israeli radio station. Two years later, he became correspondent of RMC, and the next year, senior editor at the news department of Kol Israel. At the beginning of the 1970s, he acquired Israeli citizenship.

In 1981, he became a correspondent with the French television channel Antenne 2, acquiring the title of grand reporter in 1988 ("grand reporter" is a senior title in the French media). Three years later, he became chief of the Israel bureau of France 2, the new name of Antenne 2. As of 2005, he was also vice-president of the Association of Foreign Press Correspondents in Jerusalem.
