You asked which political entity's athletes would win the most medals.
I asked "who", not "which country" or "Which Political entity".
"Who", is a short way of saying "Athletes from which political entity"
The thread links you supplied all got locked and edited.... and you're fucking stupid enough to do it again?
ALL my threads were once (twice, actually) locked, not those ones specifically.
Why do I do it again? Not for some kind of European nationalism, my European political convictions are at the opposite of nationalism.
But how could I miss a new occasion to read again the same old bashers inconsistent and contradictory litanies switching from
"the EU is the new Soviet Union and/or Nazi Germany" to
"The EU doesn't exist", see them explaining again, in a very anti-American
"Divided we Stand" logic, that the US would get more medals if they were sending 50 separate teams (What Gold would your white-trash red-neck trailer parks provide, exactly, when 4 of your states provide more than half of the US medals, with California at the top of the list)
No, the US would not get more medals with 50 teams, it could even get less in team sports and relays.
No, EU athletes would not get less medals in a more compact single team, they could even get more with the synergy effect of unity.
Yes they could get less medals in team sports and relays, but they would more likely be in Gold, that count first in the rankings.
why don't you be brave and tell us what medals you think France will win?
Swimming, Judo, Fencing, Rowing, Cycling should provide their usual lot of French medals, with other good chances for a total of between 30 and 40 medals.
With 11 titles and 33 medals, French athletes were the second contributors to Athens' EU athletes tally:

With 7 titles and 15 medals (more than the US), France was the EU's second contributor in Turin again:

I can only hope this will be the case again in Beijing.
Why don't you post a prediction thread about which US states will provide the most US medals? This could be an interesting competition between California, New York and Texas. It would be interesting to see how, when you are bragging about US medals, you are bragging about medals from states you despise and constantly bash on this website!
