No, EU athletes would not get less medals in a more compact single team, they could even get more with the synergy effect of unity.

This is factually incorrect loony, if you weren't retarded you'd see it.

As it stands, it is possible for the UK, Spain and Germany to all have athletes or teams on the podium at the same time for any event. If the pee-u were a country with a single team, they'd have only one of those medals. Since you are proposing to count all medals, even silver and bronze, you are leaving it open for the PeeU to earn multiple medals per even when no real team can do so.

As has been mentioned previously, were teh US permitted to send as many teams as our beloved make-believe PeeU does we'd also have the shot at multiple medals per event. Your argument that only a few US states would be competitive don't matter. All it would take is 3 strong teams, which CA, TX, NY and a few others are capable of fielding.

How about we make your stupid poll fair? During the Olympics, any time the PeeU wins more than one medal in an event, you only get to count 1 of those medals towards the total? So if 2 or 3 PeeU teams medal in gymnastics, you only get to count 1.
