In this ranking method, silver and bronze only count in case of a tie on gold. Not likely to happen with groups of such a size as the US, EU and China. It never happened before.
In Athens, if there were only a 3 gold medals gap between the US and China, the gap between the US and the EU was of almost 50 gold medals...

You know the rules, this prediction if about the medal tally of athletes from China (PRC), USA, and from the EU nations, as for the official medal table on the last day of those olympics on en.beijing2008.cn .

During the Olympics, any time the PeeU wins more than one medal in an event, you only get to count 1 of those medals towards the total? So if 2 or 3 PeeU teams medal in gymnastics, you only get to count 1.

If there's a tie in Gold medals, I will reconsider your objection and remove the duplicate EU medals in team sports, ok?
