You are absolutely correct, Geebart, karma for your brilliant analysis. Less than 5% of the French fought in the war, while our noble Anglo kinfolk died, so the French can spin yarns about their bravery on this thread. The most courageous French soldiers fought for the Nazis and they were not captured as POW's, because they battled to the death.
