Aren't hurricanes named after whichever meteorologist spotted it first? I guess that means we're in for one of two things. One, that more blacks will be awarded whatever degrees are necessary to become a meteorologist so as to promote an atmosphere where there are more blacks in the weather field, and thus more likely to name a hurricane that's discovered. Or two, whites will be obligated to name their discoveries with black-sounding names so as to appease the insecure black community. Let's hope the solution isn't the first option, my local weather channel is inaccurate enough as it is without a bunch of weathermen given jobs because of the color of their skin and thus having no clue as to what they're doing.

I know this might sound like political correctness gone horribly wrong, but let's think about it for a minute. Something that moves into an area bringing with it violence, wracking incredible damage to the infrastructure and local economy to the point that the community can no longer sustain itself and it forces anyone who can afford to do so to flee for their lives, and in the end requiring government intervention because of a failing at the local level to maintain even the most basic of services. There is nothing more like a hurricane than the black community. So maybe it's appropriate they name hurricanes after blacks.
