Atlantic, I have traveled through Europe. Much of it anyway, from Portugal to Turkey. If we consider just Western Europe, I don't see how it is more culturally diverse than the US aside from language.

Both have considerable differences in food, dress, religious observance, and lifestyles that vary according to region.
