Good lord, what is the point of all of these "Obama has lunch!" "Michelle goes shopping!" "The Obama kids buy a dog!" stories? Are there really anyone on the left that gives a shit about these sorts of stories? Cause as little respect as I have for the left, I'm still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that their lives aren't so shallow that their idea of news is a picture and its accompanying article about Obama ordering a fucking hamburger.
I can tell you, if the Secret Service barged into a restaurant I was working at with a dozen cameramen shuffling in behind them and started jumping behind the counter to get shots of Obama ordering from the cashier's perspective, I'd probably walk off the job sight. I wouldn't want to deal with all the hassle of dealing with Senor Nigger and his media goons as they tell me to pose for the perfect shot.
You know, the media always walked a line between the truth, and what their viewers wanted to hear. An example would be the old lochness monster that would be reported on slow news days. But they seem to have stepped off that path entirely and aren't only not being truthful, they're not even respecting the interests of their audience. Now they just shove political bullshit down peoples throats and then jump around, hooping and hollering and assuring us that it's the most important thing to happen in the last few months. But only a minority of leftist idiots even buy it, which is why the viewing audience for media outlets are in the fucking toilet.
And Obama, when you said you'd bring transparency to the government I think you misunderstood that as meaning that we cared about your whole fucking life and wanted all the details of what you were doing every single day at every single meal.

Lemme put forth a theory. Obama polls very high in personal likability while poll numbers on policy issues is starting to drop. By putting crap like this it deflects from policy and leverages his strengths. That and it keeps his face in front of a camera in a positive light and puts forth the illusion that he is overwhelmingly popular.

HuffPo had a blog post about Sarah Palin's toenail polish and even had zoomed in photos of her feet. Long arguments about whether or not her shoes matched her outfit and whether her choice of toenail polish was appropriate for a woman her age and political stature as gov. These people are losers so I'm sure they do care.

Yup, talk about trivial shit. They also nailed Palin for wearing "hooker boots" during the campaign. Perhaps this is where that asshole Letterman got his stupid "slutty flight attendant" joke. If Michelle Obama had worn those boots it would have been a major fashion story. Like how much did they cost, and at what high-end shoe store on North Michigan Avenue in Chicago did she buy them.
