By my count, he's broken 2 commandments....that leaves 8 more to go.

I'd love it if he stays in and gives us more of that contrition and forgiveness malarkey. It makes for some damn entertaining evenings on Fox.

No, he's a goner unfortunately and so his marriage.

If I were him I'd pack it in, tell the MSM to go fuck themselves and shack up with the smoking hot brunnette down in BA.

At least is A) Hetrosexual B) Good taste in tail and C) hasn't committed any crimes.

Which puts him head and shoulders above gutter swilling, shit assed dhimmicrats.

Sanford is done.

After looking around for any tricky Jaggy moves, I am in for 500 Sanford stays.

Why should he quit? Barney Frank is still around after running an underage call boy operation out of his apartment. Clinton stayed around after dropping DNA onto his subordinate intern's face and dress.

Sanford is a *fiscal conservative* not a *moral conservative*.

I would bang some hot Latina ass if I had the chance. Feathers for instance, if she dropped the burka and got with the bikini. :D

USK! this is a parimutuel game. But you make it so attractive, I'm gonna bet for now as if it isn't.

Sanford is in a morally conservative state. Remember what happened to Spitzer, in a somewhat less (by most accounts) morally conservative state.

Good luck.

I heard he is switching to the Democrat Party. That way he can fuck little girls, goats and men while knowing that his supporters will send him back to office over and over until he dies.

Brother I have no idea what you just said. "paramutual"???? I guess I have to go look it up.

However, I have 995 left, and I bet half of them. And I am doing so solely on the belief that the man SHOULD NOT abdicate.

On the other hand, I am going to get myself another 50 shares of NAT next week. They announced the dividend is coming again in August. :)

There is ff betting, and the real thing. :D

Maybe it has more to do with whether or not he's pissed of someone like Ken Langone and Dick Grasso.

One of the funniest things on TV in the past year or so was when Langone was interviewed after the Spitzer thing blew up. Langone said that Spitzer was going to the post office and buying X many postal money orders in X denomination. He was asked how he knew that. Langone replied "because I talked to the person who was standing in line behind him".

Lesson learned -- even if you're governor of a state, you can't afford to piss of rich guys with Italian surnames.

Well, at least now you know what 'parimutuel' means.

Should we do a prediction event here on the EOM price of Natty Dred? Or make it a - it goes lower before it runs into the dividend bet? What do you think?

Brother, I am a firm believer in the theory a man gets what he deserves. I made my bet, and I stand by it.

On the other hand you bastard... Nevermind.

Good luck. You will be paying me my 1. :D

Make it a simple prediction, for example -

The closing price of NAT on the final trading day of July will be:

A Higher

B Lower

C The same

as the close today, July 2, 2009.

Easy to understand, yes?

Or, did you mean explain parimutuel? That takes a bit more time. I had fun learning the math from a buddy in AZ. He'd just come back from Nam as a greenie beanie. Grew up in Ill. where his family ran a grain elevator. Anyway, there is a connection between betting the hounds, beans in the teens, corn down the limit, et cetera.

FU with your parimutuel. LOL :)

All that I am wondering is this. If I hold it for 1 year, and they give me 3 or 4 dollars of dividend per share, will the stock price not be less than 3 or 4 dollars of what I PAID for it.

I am a simpleton Jaggy, you have to bear with me. :)

My gut feeling is that he stays in office. Or at least, his personal decision would be to stay in office. Removing him, would be up to the SC Legislature, which is headed by Bobby Harrell ( another Republican ).

Yeah, the parimutuel got F'ed up now. Somebody got your enthusiasm on the other side of the trade, now it's even odds. No fun at all.

The NAT price per share should trade on discounted future earnings flow of the company, and NOT as an interest rate play on average over a term of one year. In the short term you'll often see the market do things bid up a stock a buck to get a 25 cent dividend, then back off 2 bucks after the ex-div date.

As long as management doesn't do something crazy like TOPS (another shipping outfit) did a few years ago and borrow to pay a huge 'special' dividend to pay themselves - and - the global economy doesn't take another leg down, you should be OK with Natty Dred.

The fun thing about NAT is that when crude is in contango, the wise guys are buying front month contracts then renting the tankers just for storage on back month contracts. Outfits like NAT make more money using their ships for storage than they do when they're actually moving product.

The contango is over now though, no?

I like NAT for the following reason. They have no debt. They have a credit facility, but haven't used it. They have in the past diluted shares, okay. If they keep me around 32.00 a share, but give me 3.00+ a year in divendeds, I am good.

If they drop down much more below 30, I am thinking get some more. But I am an asshole, what do I know? :D

See above, it's why I asked you the spot rates for tankers a month ago. If they keep that dividend up, I am keeping my "massive" 100 share position. :)

If the oil market booms again like 2 years ago. It's all hands on deck. If it stays like this and I get some dividends, that works too.

Yes, NYMEX West Texas Sweet and Light is still in contango.

Aug 2009 66.37

Sep 2009 67.37

Oct 2009 68.13

Nov 2009 69.03

Dec 2009 69.78

Jan 2010 70.71

Just got the above from the NYMEX.

You should do OK either way with Natty Dred.

Sooner or later the market will bid it up to lower that ~11% yield... or..... they'll use their tankers as storage units again and make more than would if they were actually hauling....or... crude will get backwardized and they'll be bidding of the whole energy patch stock complex again.

Jaggy, that makes me feel really good. Now that I know my financial house is in order. I have to ask.

What are my chances of banging Feather's South American ass looking all like Sanford's woman under her Burka? :D
