As of late, it seems that war with Iran is impending, and it won't be pretty. Iran, a large and resource-rich country wants to destroy a small, resource-poor country (namely Israel). I suppose the Iranians also want to kill us Americans, and (let's face it) they don't exactly want to throw flowers at the Europeans.

What do you think will actually happen?

1. USA got out of Iraq to reduce the US casualties when Iran uses chemical weapons if it is attacked. (Shh its secret)

2. USA got/is getting out of Afghanistan to reduce casualties in the event of Iran using biological warfare on US compounds if the US uses nukes on its territory. (Shh)

3. Iran has got thiese nice shiny laser guided missiles next; this will increase "Western casualties" www.dailymail.co.uk . . .

4. An attack is `imminent` www.mirror.co.uk . . .

5. USA will keep out of it until or unless it has no alternative to ruin itself in defence of the Israelis. USA is gambling Russia and China will do fuck all. Not a solution.

6. The mess will be expensive. Messy and expensive.

7. There will be global panic and the net will go down and so will all international travel. Radio and news channels will have so much conflicting information it will not be possible for ordianry people to understand what is going on. PAnic buying everywhere. Stealing and riots follow.

8. Having fun yet?

9. Mass Exodus from the Middle East will cause unprecedented chaos as the Arabs expect Israel to use nuclear missiles on them as Israel will be attacked by tens of thousands of ayrab types in the neighbourhood.

10. There will be riots across the world and chaos after the breakdown of society.



Maybe Iranians will be convinced that by being attacked they will be as secure as the Iraqis are after US `intervention`??

I will be planting Little green pumpkins and beans; as the price of food will rocket..

No one ever had any intention of invading Iran. So called soft power was just an excuse to do nothing. If America had wanted to invade Iran then it would have, regardless of what "Old Europe" thought. Old Europe was against the Iraqi invasion but America went ahead anyway.

there is a lot we can do:

1. we just have to encourage the change of power within Iran, like the West did with former Eastern block countries

Radio Free Europe, Radio Svoboda, support for opposition

2. a lot of young people are fed up with the mullahs already, sanctions are good they undermine regime more and more

3. we should remove Iran's main ally Assad, I can't understand we are not about to do this, while he is murdering opposition (our potential allies)

4. We should discourage comrade Putin from giving Iran nuke technology
