"My best friend has a degree in electrical engineering, and he is working at a nothing job in a hotel." I asked her where the ones who leave go. "Brazil. A lot have gone to Brazil. Or China. Or Australia."

Not true....one only needs to look at the number of Brazilians who live in the USA, europe and parts of Asia to know that there are limited opportunities in Brazil....especially in engineering. I know people who graduated with engineering degrees from Brazilian universities whose best job was as sergeants in their armed forces. Now for those educated in the USA, there may be jobs in Brazil due to the quality of the degree. |  re: Please help me! (karma: 1)
