It isn't often I'm able to congratulate the French on a job well done, but this is one of those occasions. I'm sure I speak for most of the Anglo-American members of FF when I say that we look forward with pleasure at what the future will bring to France.
Again, my most sincere congratulations on your election of a socialist majority to the National Assembly.
France's Socialists won control of parliament in a run-off vote Sunday, handing President Francois Hollande the convincing majority needed to push through his tax-and-spend agenda, estimates said.
The Socialists' bloc obtained between 308 and 320 seats -- an absolute majority in the 577-seat National Assembly -- and so will not need to rely on the Greens or the far left, polling institutes CSA, Ispsos and Sofres said.
Hollande, who defeated right-winger Nicolas Sarkozy in a May presidential election, had urged voters to give him the MPs he needs to steer France through the eurozone crisis, rising unemployment and a faltering economy.
Sarkozy's UMP and the New Centre won between 221 and 231 seats, the Socialist-allied Greens 20 seats and the far-left Left Front 10, the polling institutes said, with the centrist MoDem winning two seats. 12 Replies to Socialists take French parliament with sweeping win |

. . . . Gotta love those frenchies: they'll protect their sale language at all costs, yet they'll vote to self-destruct their ability to keep their economy solvent.
Now we can see their mental process that allowed them to surrender their country with barely a fight just to protect their bistros.
Bad frenchies, bad! |

So much fun about "front national" , the furious fascist , anti moslim , jew hater , which are going to send a 22 years old student and a mediatic lawyer amongst 577 professional politicians !
"Front national" is part of the year long mediatic plot to deal with french problem on memory about WW2 : everybody know that french big factories , universities , top scientists where the ones who collaborate with the germans - and today with middle east dictators-, but trying to look republican in the face of the world , to every poll result , they try to make people believe the only ideologic filiation with nazism in france is due to the "le Pen family !!!"
Americans would never forget how much France hates them to have won WW2 . Wat france wanted was germans back to their country,
but nazism victory on both democracies ( urss and america ).
That s also why they backed saddam hussein and probably Iran in a final try
to eradicate the state of israel which is a shame for french national pride.
There is no one top french politicians who , before dying , can
not stop vomiting antisemitic sentences ...barre , de gaulle, mitterand , chirac, all of them...
France is morally speaking a poor country . |

This is exactly why Fwance - is going to pound the nails into the coffin of the EU and the Euro.
Why - not the desire for structural reforms? No - they don't even know what those structural reforms are. And when even discussed head for the (red) hills.
The irony that Fwance will destroy the EU - itself!!! And open Europe again to total German domination. ROTFLMAO.
Fwance = FAIL |

The middle of the road gets thinner and thinner as time goes on - you can't compromise forever. Sarkozy was a "centrist" his successor is more radical (straight-up socialist) and Hollande's successor will be more radical than that. The government will start turning on it's own people, blaming "dissenters". Food riots, firing squads and civil war. In the rubble the same stupid ideas will still be held in highest esteem. |
