Maybe he knows more about them than we do.

Actually, Romney and Paul have quite cordial relations. The guy in the race he really hated was Santorum.

He does not hit nearly hard enough. He is being aloof just like McCain. Romney has a chance of winning because of the comments made by another poster in this thread; it is the worst economy in generations. Average Americans of all creeds, religions, and races see that the policies of the current occupant of the White House are guaranteed to lead to endless economic stagnation and no prosperity. The economic crisis has a cyclical component to it and it could right itself, if PEBO had not gummed up the works so much. Barack Hussein Obama's brainwashed supporters are starting to peel off like layers of an onion skin.

Yes, Soetoro is the biggest failure as POTUS since James Buchanan...so why should he scare away people willing to jump ship by spouting the Birther line or dredging up the things McCain should have used like Ayers and Wright as so many want him to? All he has to do is keep mining the rich vein of failure that is Soetoro's record, hit back when Soetoro attacks him, and convince Independents and disgruntled Dems he isn't going to make himself Ayatollah if they Elect him.
