Next week, Texans will get a treat from Skyy Vodka: a special, available-only-in-Texas bottle of Limited Edition Lone Star vodka.

The twinkling blue bottle features an iconic Lone Star on the front, and will be available starting July 4th.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Boot Campaign, a Texas-based charity that helps US service men & women.



Skyy Vodka has also invented a new recipe for the occasion: the Skyy Lone Star-ita

-2 parts Skyy Vodka
-1 part Lime Juice
-Half part Agave Nectar
1. Mix ingredients in pitcher and add cucumber slices; let it sit for approximately 15-20 minutes, add ice and serve
2. If you don’t have time to let it steep then give the cucumbers a little “muddle,” add ice and serve in salt-rimmed martini glass
