Scottish brewery sells the world's strongest beer.
Just in time for the Olympics...
BrewDog Beer, a specialty brewery located in Aberdeenshire, on the East Coast of Scotland, has introduced two new beers, "Tactical Nuclear Penguin" & "Sink the Bismarck." At 32% & 41% alcohol by volume, they are marketed as the world's strongest beers.
After brewing, dark Penguin beer is double-barrel aged for 14 months in oak casks; it is then frozen, the ice removed, frozen twice more, and then bottled once it reaches the desired ABV strength. Pale Bismarck starts with 4 times the hops and is frozen four times after brewing.
The company warns that the beers are "extremely strong" and should only be enjoyed in small servings. Penguin costs £35.00 per 330 mL (11 fl oz) bottle, Bismarck for £40.00 a 375 mL (13 fl oz) bottle, or you can buy both for £69.50.

Anything over 16% tastes more like hard cider or meade, not beer or ale.
They hop the shit out of it and infuse tanins with oak chips to take the bite out but I seriously doubt these will win any medals for taste testing. |

That overpriced piss at the beginning of this post is bollock drippings from an oversexed commercial salesman in a shiny suit. |

Hardly a session beer especially at the price. But there will be insecure weirdoes who will buy it and claim that it's a marvellous drink. |

I can't even begin to imagine how bad these beers would taste. The alcohol flavor must be incredibly overpowering over any hint of beer flavor. If you wanna get shit faced and quite possibly kill yourself drinking, simply buy a bottle of Bacardi 151 rum ( 75.5% alcohol ) and drink the bottle without stopping. |
