Bipartisian group in the Senate demand President Obama get tough on China over their currency
By TheFroginator Tue Mar 16, 2010 04:10 PM
A bipartisan group of senators introduced legislation Tuesday to force the Obama administration to take reciprocal action against China for keeping its currency artificially low.
China's "cheating" actions are part of the cause of the global economic recession and are hampering the U.S. economic recovery, the lawmakers said.
The bill was introduced by Sens. Charles Schumer (D., N.Y.), Debbie Stabenow (D., Mich.), Sherrod Brown (D., Ohio), Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) and Sam Brownback (R., Kan.). In total, there are 15 cosponsors for the bill.
"I believe the Chinese don't believe in free trade, I believe they are mercantilists," Schumer said.
The legislation would require the Treasury and the Commerce Department to implement several reactive measures against any country seen to be using its foreign-exchange policy as a countervailing subsidy, but it is primarily aimed at China.
Tough words.

Juárez killings bring chaos closer to home

El Diario de Juárez
A police officer in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, carries a baby from a vehicle in which her U.S. parents were found slain Saturday. I do so hope this doesn't adversely affect the poor immigrants who look for an entitlement teat to suck on... errr, I mean a better life. Perry blamed the federal government for failing to secure the border and renewed his recent call to deploy military drones for border surveillance. Like THAT'S gonna happen. In response to growing border violence, the State Department issued a new travel warning Monday that urges Americans to avoid the northern Mexican cities of Juárez, Matamoros, Monterrey, Nuevo Laredo, Nogales and Tijuana. Nooooo problemo.

There Are Two Ways To Conquer and Enslave A Nation. One Is By The Sword and The Other is By Debt
By Gia Mon Mar 15, 2010 10:08 PM
Several countries are already past the point of no return. Even if America taxed 100% of all household wealth, it would not be enough to put its balance sheet in the black. And Professors Rogoff and Reinhart show that when external debt passes 73% of GDP or 239% of exports, the result is default, hyperinflation, or both. IMF data show the US already too far gone on both scores, with external debt at 96% of GDP and 748% of exports.
The rioters can go home, in other words. The system will collapse on its own.

Another Billboard Mystery in Minnesota?
By Gia Mon Mar 15, 2010 09:58 PM
Somehow, I think people will miss this man more than the one featured in the “Miss Me Yet?” billboard that appeared outside the Twin Cities in Minnesota last month. Another anonymous advertisement has appeared on the roadside of a major interstate freeway in the outer-ring suburbs of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolis area, on I-94 just outside of Albertville on the way from St. Cloud to Minneapolis. This ad recalls a President that never got his due in Minnesota:

By hawk7 Mon Mar 15, 2010 10:15 AM
An award-winning video director was unmasked Thursday as a brutal, bizarre serial breeder who repeatedly raped his daughters to create a "pure" bloodline.
Aswad Ayinde, who won an MTV award for directing The Fugees' "Killing Me Softly," fathered six kids with his daughters from the mid-1980s to 2002 - and delivered the babies himself, New Jersey prosecutors said.
Ayinde, 51, who most recently lived in Paterson, N.J., also had nine kids with his ex-wife, Beverly, and at least three more with two other women in Brooklyn, court records show.
"He said the world was going to end, and it was just going to be him and his offspring and that he was chosen," Beverly Ayinde testified at a pre-trial hearing.

Strategist who took down Dukakis targets senator's link to Arab money
Floyd Brown, author and president of the Western Center for Journalism, created the infamous "Willie Horton" commercial accusing then-Massachusetts Gov. Dukakis of being soft on crime. The ad, which focused on convicted murderer William Horton, who was granted a weekend furlough under Dukakis and who used his freedom to flee, rape and murder, sent the Dukakis campaign flailing to the defensive and is credited with contributing to the candidate's loss to then-Vice President George Bush.
Now a pair of political-action committees have hired Brown to create a new series of independent-expenditure advertisements that allegedly expose Reid's record of political corruption and ties to Arab money.
Specifically, the commercial responds to an ad launched last fall that included the CEO of the MGM Mirage casino in Las Vegas, James Murren, praising Reid for calling banks and pressuring them to finance the casino's failing $8.5 billion construction project called City Center. Murren claims Reid's efforts saved over 12,000 Nevada jobs.
Brown's ad, however, points to Murren's business partner, the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The ad claims Al Maktoum used slave labor to build similar structures in Dubai and that the slave-labor bosses and union-labor bosses are now working together to get their financial friend in Washington re-elected.

Minority Births on Track to Outnumber White Births
By geebart Wed Mar 10, 2010 02:02 PM
WASHINGTON — This year could be the "tipping point" when the number of babies born to minorities will outnumber that of babies born to whites, demographers said Wednesday.
Minorities make up nearly half the children born in the U.S., part of a historic trend in which minorities are expected to become the U.S. majority over the next 40 years.
The numbers are growing because immigration to the U.S. has boosted the number of Hispanic women in their prime childbearing years. Minorities made up 48 percent of U.S. children born in 2008, the latest census estimates available, compared to 37 percent in 1990.
I hope all you colorblind YTs don't mind being a minority. I'm sure, just like in South Africa, the blacks will be kind to your elderly ass and your children. I'm sure the mexican mafia will also cease chopping people's heads off and "controlling the streets". YT your days are numbered, you dumbass dodo bird. Human Rights begin at home. Clean up own backyard China urges U.S.
China's Information Office of the State Council published a report titled "The Human Rights Record of the United States in 2009" yesterday. The full text of China's State Council assessment of U.S. human rights violations as published in Xinhuanews follows:
The State Department of the United States released its Country Reports on Human Rights Practices for 2009 on March 11, 2010, posing as "the world judge of human rights" again. As in previous years, the reports are full of accusations of the human rights situation in more than 190 countries and regions including China, but turn a blind eye to, or dodge and even cover up rampant human rights abuses on its own territory. The Human Rights Record of the United States in 2009 is prepared to help people around the world understand the real situation of human rights in the United States.Thought I'd post it before best in the ass or saxon mutilates kittens for a living.
